The Delay Love-fest. A Couple of Observations
I watched about all I could stand of the Delay Appreciation Dinner on C-SPAN last night. I think I made it 5 minutes. Anyway, a couple of things in that brief 5 minutes were kind of surreal.

First, I'm not sure if I was trying to burnish my image that I would have former representative Livingston speaking on my behalf. I mean, wasn't this the guy that resigned on the House floor during the impeachment fiasco? Wasn't it rumored that he liked his "eight inches, uncut". Not that there is anything wrong with that, but someone who resigned because he was a married man that may have been a "pole smoker" on the side, just does not seem to be the best character witness you could find.

Second, they had some weasel called Brent Bosell speak. He said he did a google search for "delay scandals" and got almost 900,000 hits!! His point was that this proved that the "librul" media was out to get poor ole Tom. Well, I did my own experiment. Maybe his search engine in better than mine, but when I googled "delay scandals" I got 313,000 hits. Then I googled "clinton scandals" and got a whopping 618,000 hits.

So does this mean that by his reasoning, the "librul" media was on a witch-hunt for the Clinton's?

The spinning out of these people would make Maytag proud.

1. Good research
Caught them in another lie did you? Surprise, surprise, surprise, they make their own reality, don't you know.

I think slowly, gradually, between the cracks and through the air, Americans are starting to wise up to this lying bunch of cheats. The other day on CNN, some General was blaming the media for failures in Army recruiting. He said because the media scares people about dying in Iraq, no one wants to join.

He's right and he didn't even know it. Aside from the implied lie about the "librul" media, people are afraid of dying in Iraq and are not joining. Even the repukes aren't sending their sons and daughters into the military. Not the repukes have been all that brave about defending their country in times of war. But it's an indication that they are smart enough to know the hype from brush, about how wonderful things are over in Iraq, is nothing but lies.

It's clear that people don't trust the government any more. They don't trust them to keep their sons and daughters safe. Soon they are not going to trust them with the rest of their government either.

Yeah, like I want my grandsons to go and die for a bunch of lies. I want to have bake sales so I can buy them the armor that they desperately need. What a bunch of morons. If I did not hate them so bad, I might feel sorry for these idiots.

4. I said this before but it was prophetic to me
I was speaking with a friend of mine. We are both in the military. We're both kind of history buffs, and our discussion was about a recent program we had seen about Teddy Roosevelt.

Anyway, my friend said something that struck a nerve with me. He said; "you know, Roosevelt required his sons to serve in the military". "Roosevelt said that the least his children could do is what was asked of other American children"

Then my friend said something that hit me like a brick; "We no longer have a Republic, and you can tell we no longer have a Republic, because the Bush twins are not in Iraq".

I was speechless, because HE's RIGHT!

5. Good old Brent Bozell.
Did you know if you google Brent Bozell Rev Moon you get 710 hits? I'd like to hear a good explanation of that from Mr. Bozell.
