So yeah I just got a letter from Citi Cards

On one of my cards that I paid completely off a month ago. Funny thing cause at the top of the lterr it says

Balance: $0.00
Minimum Due: $0.00

Then they start off

"We are writing to let you know that we recently sent you a statement reminding you that we have not recieved a payment on your account."

Then it goes on saying that it is hard to establish good credit and even longer to re-establish credit. Saying how they value me as a customer and would hate to see me lose my charging privaliges.

So basically I got a late notice that held those nice sutle threats for nothing due. Wondering if I should send them a envelope of nothing in return, but then they would owe me postage.

Bunch of dumb asses.

1. ROFL send them a check for $0.00 and write across the statement
"Please close my account, because you are too stupid to earn my continued trust and business"

2. Send them a check for $0.00
Or you might call them, it could be an ID theft scam. I had a problem with a Master card from them, but they took care of it quickly.

3. I knew a guy decades ago...
... who had the same thing happen. The letters got more and more threatening, then they sent it to collection; it was made more complicated by the fact that, by then, he was in Vietnam. After a few months, he finally sent them a check for $0.00. It all stopped.
