Looking for information on the recent extention of service commitments?
I heard on one of the radio programs this week (I forget which) that there was recently an order that extends the terms of service for all soldiers, not just the 7000 or so that were subject to the previous stop-loss.

Is that true?

And can anybody find me a link? I've had no luck Googling.

2. I heard this, too
In fact, I heard that it was an extension of 8 years. Again, it may have been Bob Kincaid's program. And I'm pretty sure it was no more than in the last day or two. Thursday or Friday.

I think it was a caller who brought the topic up.

Surely something of this magnitude somebody else here has some data on?

If not, then I guess I will assume that it isn't so.

I tried Googling this but didn't come close to anything recent. If it's true, it'll come to light soon. It sounds plausible given how bad recruitments are down.
