Wow, this guy let's Pat Buchanan have it!
Edited on Mon May-16-05 06:01 PM by Syrinx
Commentator, race-baiter, fascist apologist and occasional presidential candidate Pat Buchanan couldn't stand by silently while millions of people around the globe celebrated the defeat of Hitler's Nazi Germany.

Buchanan, after all, has often expressed a chummy admiration for Hitler and the Third Reich. He has described Hitler as "an individual of great courage . . . extraordinary gifts."

In recent days Buchanan chose the anniversary celebrations of the defeat of Hitler's fascist Third Reich to suggest that Britain and France were responsible for forcing Hitler into a wider European war. He argued that Hitler was voted into power by the German people who did not need to be liberated.

*snip*

As I have written before, if Buchanan isn't a racist, fascist, anti-Semitic, pro-Nazi, nativist, isolationist bigot, then he sure gives a good imitation of one.

2. My dad recently told me Buchanan doesn't believe
the Holocaust ever happened; could that possibly be true? That would be mind-boggling and ignorant...

4. There are many, many people who don't believe the holocaust happened.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Buchanan is one of them. He's a rabid anti-semite.

3. We didn't liberate Germany, we conquered it!

Yah, how dare the Brits and Frogs try to defend Poland... and Norway... and Denmark... and Holland... and Belgium... and Luxembourg... and France... and Yugoslavia... and Greece... and Egypt... and Russia...

Gimme a break, Pat. Hitler and company intended war with most of Europe whether or not France and England declared war. Kinda like how BushCo intended war with Iraq no matter what.
