Poor bush, so UNPOPULAR as he DROPS YET AGAIN in the polls.
Bush approval ratings, now (vs. March 2005)

Approve 43 (49)
Disapprove 50 (46)

http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=243

For those with eyesight problems and reality-impaired freepers;

MAJORITY DISAPROVE OF bush; 50%. ONLY 43% APPROVE.

11. If only he would have been racing NASCAR instead of riding..
his bike when the small plane violated D.C. airspace, that would have given him a bounce. Seriously though, it is looking more and more likely that Bush will be a no-show on the 2006 campaign circuit. Republicans in close races will think twice before hitching their horse to his wagon!

Especially since this is the same polling outfit predicted Bush would win the election 51-48, just as he did.

Oh wait, it really doesn't make you think its anything other that buyer's remorse.

35. an opportunity here....
Most of the polls we focused on last year were from the perspective of likely voters. His approval numbers in the general non-voting population have probably been low from the beginning, which is why these polls are so much lower for Bush than the ones we saw before the election.

That's why we can't rest. The whole key to victory in '06 and beyond will be in voter registration, and motivating the infrequent or non-voters to throw these Republican bastards out.

20. I personally sense Shrub's approval figures are about 30% (at best).
The numbers have been "pumped" since BEFORE the Election. As they had to be...so that the 'fixed' Election figures would be more believable.

My guess is Shrub had a low 40% approval near Election time as well.

24. Maybe we should call for an "up or down" vote on Bush. No campaign,
no debates, no Electoral College, just a nationwide vote with one simple question, "Do you want George W. Bush to resign now as president?" Obviously a "yes" vote would carry no legal weight but it is hard to see how the little imposter could continue if he got a strong vote against him - and even if he did, the House and Senate Repubs would be empowered to defy him.

31. I agree
Guys like Biden and Leiberman put a damper on this party.

It's not too late though. 06' is just around the corner and if we play our cards right, and elect some Dems with nuts, we may have a shot at tossing Bush before 08.

We got enough evidence to impeach the prick. That Downing Street memo is more than damning.

Having a few ideas could help the Dems a little though. They only need to look at their past and let me tell you, this party is in dire nee of some trust busters.

39. Expect KKKarl to Whip up some domestic terror
pretty soon now.

The Color-Coded Terror Alerts are no longer effective.

We've done the low level scare tatics:
-Mystery briefcase left at the capitol building.
-Rogue plane over DC turns out to be a cloud.
-Pinecone/grenade incident in Georgia.
-Rogue Cessna causes mass evacuation

I expect Karl to do something really nasty now, more along the 9-11 scale. Its all spelled out in the PNAC Handbook (Rebuilding America's Defenses)
