As an American who strongly opposes the war in Iraq, I must thank you for your eloquent presentation in our Senate yesterday. How we (those who oppose the Bush Administration) have suffered in virtual silence as our own Democratic party has bowed down to this administration. Alas, it took a foreigner to say what we have felt for so long! Thank you. These are truly frightening times in the U.S. as our media has abandoned the search for truth and operated in fear of reprisal from Karl Rove and his ilk. Your words made me cheer that the truth can and will be spoken. Thank you!
