Americablog: John Teases About Sen. Coleman's Character
Edited on Wed May-18-05 10:23 AM by Hissyspit
"Senator Coleman: Before you go attacking other people's character based on a single source under questionable circumstances, you might want to take a peek in your own closet. I've received lots of info from sources claiming all sorts of things - well, actually, one specific thing - about your character. Think really hard (no pun intended) if you really want that to be the standard for public personal attacks on politicians' character."

That's all he posts (in discussion on the Galloway testimony), and I'll admit, I don't know what he means by the "one specific thing" (not that I can't imagine)...

3. You'd be right.
I've probably heard the same rumors.

Norm would have some 'splainin' to do with his religious right constituents!

4. This was a response over at Americablog:
"Fuck, no....he's not gay. He likes the ladies too much....way too much!! Just ask around some of the bars in St. Paul. Oh, and have you ever seen that darling wife of his spend more than 5 minutes beyond a photo-op next to Normie? Nope, she's got a career or something else to attend to in California or some distant land - as long as it keeps her away from his smarmy ass."

7. That's Norm, all right.
Norm "Zipper" Coleman looooves the ladies. Can't keep his hands off them.
Just don't write that his wife's "visiting" her family when she's in Minnesota. She'll call you at 5 am to scream at you. (This happened to a columnist in the Star Tribune a few years ago. Other DU'ers have better info than me about the incident.)

5. He probably sleeps around.
John normally outs closet gays but if he gets tips from people of heterosexual affairs, he'll take it I'm sure.:-)

6. Well fuck him. If he knows something and won't publicize it he is aiding
and abetting the biggest crime of the century. If you have proof of wrong doing lay it out there . Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk..

8. Publishing rumors as fact is not a good idea
However, saying as this guy did, that he has heard rumors is OK.
