Biographical Sketch
Clark's father Benjamin Kanne was an Orthodox Jewish lawyer and Democratic Party politician, who died in 1948. His mother then returned home to Little Rock and married a former banker, Victor Clark. Wesley was brought up a Baptist Christian, and attended public schools. During the Vietnam war, he married Gertrude Kingston of Brooklyn, New York, and became a Roman Catholic. They have a son, Wesley Jr.

I'm not terribly interested in that angle but if you are...then here:

3. My my the he is from Jewish
Parentage will be exploited by the BFEE... just like Kerry.

Lieberman has that one clearly pegged.

Just an observation...

5. They're all Jewish this year
I'm just waiting for Sharpton to make some wise-crack about having an Ethiopian Jewish Babushka.

It's gotten absurd though that there's such a to-do about this angle with candidates going to pay court to AIPAC or in Kucinich's case Tikkun.

4. Well, now that is a positive thing
Not to be an ass but being raised in a Democratic family helps- especially since there's been so much speculation about his politics.

Not to excuse him and say that this is burning proof of much but it's certainly better than hearing the reverse.

6. He wasn't raised by his father or raised Jewish, Tin.
His father died when he was 5. Mom (non Jewish?) moved back to Arkansas and married a gentile investment banker (Clark). The general was raised as a gentile.

7. Benjamin Kanne died when Wesley was 5 years old
Ultimately, Victor Clark, a banker, is Gen. Clark's "father."
