Box Office Woes
The latest Star Wars broke first day and single day gross
records, yet all I see from the entertainment news is angst
over whether this will be the crappiest box office summer of
all.

I'll admit, I'm hypersensitive to the Corporate Media, jaded,
looking for what they really mean. The easy answer is they
seek to make a story of nothing, but how long can that last?

Are they trying to peg Box Office for a summer to the decline
of wealth overall in society? Are they hoping this might be
the acceptable harbinger of doom?

Let it sink, just wondering.

1. The corporate powers would prefer that this movie
not do so well.....due to the message presented in it.

Your are right to be suspicious.....stay that way.

"They" can't really discourage from people seeing it...cause it would be too obvious considering that this movie has been awaited by millions.

So they figure that, if nothing else, they'll minimize the impact it might have on Box office numbers, and concentrate on possible bad news.
