1. I don't think it was anti-repub as much as a commentary on power itself
Bush et al. are simply coincidence.

I saw the movie earlier tonight. It's far less "kid-friendly" than the previous two, much darker and more tragic. I thought it was good. I had a friend earlier tonight who remarked Palpatine's voice reminded him of Cheney's at certain points.

Star Wars is anti-Bushco.

I personally think that George Lucas is still mad about Reagan using the name Star Wars.

I saw some article that called Star Wars the f9/11 of the summer.

YAY! I can't wait to see it.

I think Gone with the Wind is still #1 in terms of current dollars.
