Time for all 70,000+ DUers to head to the local office max and buy bright sticks and post the message on your rear car window....If you ride public transit, write it on their window...(it washes off)

2. If fundies can post John 3:16 on cross country trucks...we can retort with

some common sense. Think of it en masse... seeing it everywhere you go. United front that the media can't stop...no one could stop. It's your property and in your face editorial!

6. Nope can't fucking stand those yellow ass ribbons!

When they first came out, I modified one for about two weeks then threw it in the trash because I couldn't stand the sight of it even though I had modified it to say "Support the Troops...Stop Lying to them!" Can't be a yellow ribbon and must be more obvious for me than just truth... They could claim that as theirs. Must be SUPPORT THE TRUTH - STOP THE WAR OF LIES or something better.

there aren't 70,000 DUers. Not even close. As I understand it, that number represents all the registrations since the beginning of DU -- lotsa sock puppets, lotsa tombstoned conservatives and jerks, lotsa people who've gone away or just don't bother with the place much any more, etc., etc., etc.

I think it would be really neat to get some idea of how many "active" DUers we've got, but that's unlikely to ever happen.
