I am glad they settled this now. I think it is best - fight all night over who won this stupid episode - I'm just glad it's over for now. If they changed the rules a lot of people would have been hurt unnecessarily.

1. So what's stopping them from having the same fight again?

4. NOTHING...absolutely nothing.
Republicans - 3 (more fanatics on the bench)

Democrats - 0

A compromise is when BOTH sides get something.
This was a CAPITULATION.

2. You were ready for a fight.....
but now you're relieved? Then you weren't ready for a fight. We caved, we lose. The Dems wussed out again. I need to find a party with a backbone!

5. LOL - you have a terrible attitude
I meant there was going to be fighting in the street - I am not generally thinking that's the best political solution.

3. A "fight"? From our "leaders" who sold us out again.
Fat chance.

6. No, violence in the streets.
Seems like it would have been inevitable...

9. Me too!
I was posting some pretty crazy ideas last night!! I was planning on being angry all day Tuesday. While I'm disappointed that three of the right-wing judges will most likely be confirmed, we still have the filibuster. I checked out one of the right-wing boards, and they are PISSED!! They are turning on the moderate Republicans big time. I'm a hardcore Democrat, but the moderate Republicans who stood up to Frist and his Fristians will be hearing from me soon, and I think all of us should thank them for showing courage. They need to know they did the right thing!
