I remember Stern's television show - nonstop vulgarity. The way he treated women was especially piggish. He's a real oinker, as piggish as they get.

but for all the insensitive things he says, as he tries to be as honest as possible, he has made this country a better place in my opinion

He's put me in a good mood countless mornings and I can't say that about any other media figure.

People get the impression from his E! show that all he's about is looking at naked women, while thats only about 5 percent of what his show is about

Stern dislikes getting into political discussion and dislikes pretty much all other radio show hosts besides himself

stern IS a pig and a RWinger of the first order.

Even though he is crass and vulgar, he is an original, unlike Weiner/Savage who is strictly a Rush clone.

Like him or not, Howard Stern changed radio, and is a creative force.

The major difference between the two is their attitude toward gays. Whereas Michael Savage is a homophobe who refers to gays and lesbians as perverts and habitually condemns them, Howard Stern has stated that 'Lesbians equal ratings,' and routinely features them on his show.

He's a very nice guy in person. He just speaks his mind. He's very liberal, but has some repug beliefs.

Michael Savage, the reactionary, trash-talking radio host (whose plans to deal with immigrants make Patrick Buchanan look like Ralph Nader), was fired from MSNBC this week for making anti-gay remarks on his show "The Savage Nation." His comments were directed toward a viewer who had called in to the show. Savage asked if the caller was a "sodomite," and when the caller responded in the affirmative, Savage said the following: "Oh, you're one of the sodomites? You should only get AIDS and die, you pig. How's that? Why don't you see if you can sue me, you pig. You got nothing better than to put me down, you piece of garbage. You have got nothing to do today, go eat a sausage and choke on it."

Wow. Take a moment to comprehend that this was broadcast on a credible, nationwide news station. According to reports that we've seen, five of MSNBC's six viewers were offended by Savage's comments.
