4. Just another example of Republican using muscle for censorship...
Bill Maher and HBO should be prepared to take some jabs. That's what happens when you tell the truth in the current political climate.

5. This congressman should read the constitution he swore to uphold.
Fuck him. Maher's point in that was that the people that argued for this war need to go enlist. Why is that point ignored?

For this congressman to say Maher's statement is "boarderline treason" is insane. Treason? For excersizing your constitution right to FREE SPEECH? And then he has the mendacity to call for Maher's show to be cancelled? Unbelievable.

Who the hell do these jackboot republican neo-nazi's think they are?

7. Bachus has it backwards
HE cancels HIS HBO. That's how he deals with this. The rest of us get to keep OUR HBO.

Don't like it Bachus? Don't pay to see it. Pretty simple actually.

8. Grandstanding 101
It took this turd two weeks to pick up on this statement?

Yep, this sure will play well in the VFW Halls back home...he'll get lots of free beers and a pat on the head from boss De Lay.

First, HBO isn't "on the air"...isn't regulated by the FCC...and, even moreso, is a "premium" cable channel. Those who get this channel subscribe to it. This wouldn't even pass Constitutional muster with Priscilla Owens.

Wingnut hate radio asshats will play with this distaction (they need something to divert from the pissed "nuclear option" callers) and this appears to be De Lay's marching orders for the day.
