a top administration official or family member killed in an apparent terrorist attack, in order to justify a new war?

The ends justify just about anything with this crew.

9. My theory is that:
The CIA will suddenly find "credible evidence" that Iranian insurgents are crossing the border and conducting "military exercises" and conscripting Iraqi citizens. This will not be tolerated by the US (and surely the rest of the world will agree) so an invasion of Iran is justified. Dubbyahoot will go on TV and praise the "great intelligence" that led to our righteous action.
