Today's thought is based on a question, one that I'd like y'all to answer as honestly as possible:

What the hell is so scary about Karl Rove?

Is it his political acumen? Somehow I doubt it; the man lost the election and had to resort to last-ditch scams in order to get his boy in the White House. Let's recap that: He ran his homespun fake shitkicker against a man who had the public persona of having negative charisma, and he lost.

Is it his octopus-like control of the press? Even with a compliant general media and the blaring of Roger Allies' trumpets on the Fox channel, Rove can't help but watch as Bush's support erodes.

The man's not Lee Atwater. He's not even John Mitchell.

So what is it about him that causes normally calm liberals to panic like penguins when his name is mentioned?
