Just imagine a bunch of senators and congresspeople marching down the street to the Washington Post's office, demanding that they talk to the about the Downing St memo!

Madison is a real activist, knows what he's talking about. What was it he said - "your people want to know that you are with them"> Something like that. I think he got through to them.

11. Joe Madison to the Reps, asking what else they can do

One of the congresspersons asked the panel what they can do when they hold press conferences and none of the press shows up. "What else can we do," she implored.

Joe Madison says ........ Walk over to the Washington Post and go into the lobby. Demand to see the editor. He'll see you! Do you know how impressive it is to see twenty congressmen walking down the street in a body?

He also said the Dems in congress are losing their constituency. He said "they're ready to fight. They just want the generals to show up!" That line got an applause, maybe the only one of the entire conference.

Go Joe!!!!!!

14. I just heard that - I hope the SERIOUSLY consider doing this

better yet, after the W.Post walk to the cspan studios - 2-3 days in a row on Washington Journal people have called in and mentioned Downing St. Memo and they are basically cut off

Madison was right

Cut out the sophistication, you are too nice,we are ready to fight but we want our Generals to fight with us

Absolutely 100% correct, Mr Madison (there is an ironic name for this panel)
