‘Child’ porn star backs Army major

AN AMERICAN porn star is to give evidence on behalf of a British Army major who has been charged in Belfast with possession of child pornography.

The officer, who is serving in Northern Ireland, is accused of having a picture of the rape of an underage girl stored on his laptop computer.

Melissa Bertsch from Los Angeles, whose stage name is Melissa Ashley, has given statements to the officer’s solicitor certifying that the image is of her and that she was over 20 years of age when it was taken.

Bertsch, whose film credits include Babysitter Training and Extreme Schoolgirls, said: “I am willing to travel to Belfast if needs be. I am always willing to help out a fan.”

i checked her website...hmmmm.i think she falls under the category of girls who look a lot younger than their real age...i don`t think she`d help his case.

Is it child porn if a 20yo performer looks younger than 18? No. Child porn is the filming of an actual crime against a child.

If any depiction of sexual activity between consenting adults where at least one of them LOOKS underage, or the character played is under 18, does that make the movie "The Blue Lagoon" child porn?

Can look like a little girl when she wants to.

She does porn with much older (60's) guys too.

So I could see how someone would think she's a kid. That's her niche.

Now the question, is it kiddie porn to simulate that you are underage for a movie, even if you are of legal age? I've heard some legistlators want that to be illegal also.

As when porn actresses are dressed up in Catholic schoolgirl outfits, etc. Explicit simulation, however, is illegal: the movie can't be called "Crazy High School Girls" or otherwise explicitly suggest underage simulation, regardless of the age of the performers.

Child Online Protection Act - that is. Passed by congress and signed into law by Clinton.

It was overturned by the supreme court. The law as written would have made the movie "the blue lagoon" prosecutable under the law.

1) Concerted efforts to advance women. More scholarship opportunites for girls. Greater efforts to reinforce girls' academic efforts. Mentorship programs in K-12, college, and the workplace for girls and women. Expand hiring of women to administrative positions in all fields.

2) Counteract images in mainstream media of women as sexualized second stringers. I find the trivialization of women in our daily onslaught of media to be far more damaging than consensual pornography of whatever ilk.

Oh and 3) Put some real effort into protecting women who are victims of gender specific violence, and some real effort into catching and holding accountable the men who do it. Including global sex-trafficking.

Brief excitement and a lot of money wasted all because nature has seen fit to give men a powerful sex drive.

It's awful how some women exploit men by offering sex for their money.

Just look up "escorts" online. For just $300 a woman will spend 1 hour with you.

When you see that amount of money involved, an "escort" might as well be a drug dealer.

At least the FBI under Clinton took the focus off of adult obscenity and focused all of the FBI's obscenity unit on child pornography.

Ashcroft, and now Gonzoles have taken these resources off of child porn to again hassle the legal adult film industry.

And as far as scholarship opportunities, I would like to see all secondary education paid for by the government - for both young women and men. More women than men are already going on to college as it is. A college education for anyone able to complete the work, regardless of economics, would go a long way to leveling the playing field for all Americans.

He enjoys seeing images of an underage girl being raped. The fact she is of legal age wasn't known to him. He is disgusting.

I also think she is disgusting for participating in this sort of exploitation and encouragement of the perversion of voyeuristic child rape. x(
