Would you offer this deal... would he take it?
Edited on Sun May-29-05 04:55 PM by Rosco T.
"Mr. President...

"We've got all the data, all the eveidence, all the proof. Not only can you be impeached and removed from office without delay, we've got enought on you and your 'partners' in this debacle to send you to the War Crimes court in the Hague."

"We don't want to do that to this NATION, we really don't care about you."

"We give you a choice -"

"- 1st You will immediately tell VP Cheney to tender his resignation. You will appoint a decent honest man, of our approval (not choice, approval), in his stead.

- 2nd As soon as the new VP is sworn in, you will IMMEDIATELY order the ARREST and DETAINMENT of RUMSFIELD, BOLTON, WOLFIWITZ, NEGROPANTI, RICE and the other instigators of this unholy war and you will GIVE SWORN TESTIMONY OF THEIR ACTIONS.

- 3nd You will immediately resign the Presidency and except for the testimony in the trial of the above, stay OUT of the media, OUT of politics and OUT of the business of this country for the rest of your life."

"Do so, and you will be granted immunity for your actions in this issue, fail to maintain your end of the agreement and the immunity is lifted and you will be arrested and prosecuted immediately"

"Ignore this offer and the gates of hell will be opened on you, your adminstration and what's left of the Republican Party".

"Your choice, Mr. President..."

1. No, he wouldn't take it
I know that I'm going to be flamed by some, but if you add Blair AND withdrawal of troops as well and Bush accepts then that it is solved.

5. No I wouldn't offer a deal like that...
because if I did, I'd end up in Gitmo.

So would anyone, even a Senator or an ex-President.

6. Silly fantasy.
Better to concentrate on re-taking the House and Senate in 06.
