Seems ok now though. Earlier it was incredibly slow or just timed out completely.

8. Seems better now...
Since last night I couldn't post and it timed out several times.

I was getting nervous I was banned or something.lol

The timing was good since it happened in the middle of a potential flamefest on appropriate parenting.lol

9. yes...was having problems connecting to DU at all
kept "timing out"....rebooted, now seems better

Does anyone else get paranoid when this happens? Where in the world would we "meet up" if DU was "not available?"

16. I use to get
paronoid but after 21/2 years..and my computer was working fine otherewise..I figured DU was having probs.

Although the thought did run through my mind about DU getting shut down and how awful it would be. It's bad enough when you wanna be on and you can't get through.

I want my DU!B-)

first thing this morning. Most distressing.

So it's not our computers.."server problems"!

I figured everyone else must be going through this same problem since I could access buzzflash and netflix easily.

17. I just realized something
I couldn't connect to DU all morning from my home page (MyWay.com), altho I could connect to every other site I had stored under bookmarks. If I log on, not signing in to MyWay.com, and just use my browser without homepage, I can connect right to DU.

Can others try to connect to DU bypassing your homepage and let me know what happens?

I also get the bug report when posting, so I'm sure this is not my homepage's fault. I guess this bug problem is why there are so many duplicate posts in this forum?

24. When I click on DU from my favorities I keep getting other sites
ie: University of Pheonix, an on-line store, etc.

Then when I get DU, it's very difficult to bring up discussion pages. I'm having a heck of a time posting this.

26. I'm having that same problem
Getting sent all over the place when I click on links; I've counted five different ISP websites I've been directed to in the past 24 hours. Plus Photobucket, google and other sites I do visit regularly. This particular problem may be due to the DU technical trouble, or may be something bigger on the individual computer.

It would be helpful for me to know if anyone else shares this problem of being directed to random sites from DU links...

you should have to login, or at least i did.

i was using that link, but it failed repeatedly (timed out on forums, messages etc.)

but i kept at it, and then during a refresh, my isp kicked me off. So reconnected, tried it again, and once i logged in for the first time, it's been okay...

now to see if this posts.
