We should replace the "Memo" with "Minutes" - minutes of the meeting

is what makes it OFFICIAL and turns it into the smoking gun

If our side ever gets it on cspan that should be said immediately;it is not just some memo the other side can dismiss

1. A memo usually sent to other people to inform them of some event -

past/present/future.

Minutes of a meeting are the SPECIFIC events or topics that took place in a meeting, conferance, etc. It may or may not be sent to other people as a "memo."

If minutes of a meeting is actually what it was, then it definately should be called that. Of course on the other hand, we could just call it minutes in order to "frame" it the way we want it - like the Republicans do.

It's the official record of what was said (outside of an actual transcript).

"Memo" allows too much wiggle room, especially in these days of CYA memos being sent around corporations every day of the week...or the classic TPS Report cover memo...

BTW - I think the MSM realized this. That's why they stuck the "memo" moniker on this story as soon as it broke.
