Future Freepers can claim...Bush lies in Arlington National Cemetery
George W. Bush doesn`t care where he lies: Crawford Ranch, the Rose Garden, The Vatican, in a flight suit, in his pickup truck, at the United Nations. You name the place and I`ll name the lie. Yesterday`s location was the Arlington National Cemetery. Tomorrow`s location could be anywhere from Uzbekistan to an old growth forest. As long as Karl orders up the appropriate prop, Dubya will grab the headlines. A flag pin and a big floral wreath can go a long way....even if you`re an AWOL Commander in Chief.

Yesterday Bush described the United States as a "reluctant warrior" in spite of his stated pre-emptive first strike policies. I imagine millions of Americans nodded in approval as they clung to the belief that Bush`s rhetoric matched reality. Even Ted Koppel`s reading of The Fallen won`t shake Bush`s message. We`re the world`s Peace and Freedom Experts. We have all bases covered. Reservists willing to do two or three tours in Iraq with the solid support of non-military experts like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. It`s a beautiful thing.

I`ve noticed something a bit odd. Bush loves to "honor" America`s soldiers, past and present with speeches about the Greatest Generation and the brave men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan. What`s missing is an in-depth tribute to those who fought and died during the Vietnam War,his generation`s war, a war he almost never mentions. A curious omission, but perhaps it`s Rove`s way of enabling Bush to skip over the AWOL part and focus on the Born Again section. In my eyes, the stench from George Bush`s lying mouth defiles real sacrifices so foreign to his history of privilege.

4. The newest freeper line that I keep hearing about Iraq:
This one freeper I know keeps going back to the WWII thing in saying "It might take a while for democracy to take root, we had to fight a war with Germany twice for it to take root there." Damn but I'm sick of their propagandist bullshit. If they keep repeating the mantra Iraq = WWII and Saddam = Hitler, they believe it will foment in the minds of everyday Americans. Well, freepers, you should know something, Bush resembles Hitler a lot more than Saddam EVER did.

5. Actually
I was at a site filled with Freepers and they had threads comparing Saddam to Hitler (or worse) and then had a simultaneous thread running based on Pat Buchanan's assessment that WWII wasn't worth fighting. So they equate Iraq as the more worthwhile war and make Saddam the bigger threat to the US and Democracy...

If I had shook my head any harder in disbelief, it would have fallen off my shoulders. Right Wingers are the most insane delusional group of people since the Nazis and they deserve a similar fate when they fall.

6. on june 5, 6, or 7 he will lie at the OAS meeting which willl be held at
the broward county convention center and where he will propose to

create a committee to monitor the quality of democracy in the region

'them there are lying words...code for something like you ain't bending your knee to me? you ain't toeing my line of lies and power grabs? you and your scum ass are out of the picture because i said so'...

and how i hope that those ministers who will listen to bush's pack of lies will know that the creation of such a monitoring of democracy in the region program ... will be a way for bush to monitor who he wants in power, who he wants out and what country he might decide to just bomb like he did iraq.

7. cemetery propaganda
Soldiers &c killed in Iraq are buried under a standard military marker similar to those used since the Civil War. Usually those markers indicate the conflict, e.g. World War II, Korea, War of the Rebellion &c. For those killed in Iraq it says "Operation Iraqi Freedom" instead of something like "Iraq" or "Second Gulf War". It is bad enought that these folks are dying for a lie. Must they have that lie engraved onto their headstones for eternity?

:wtf: :nuke: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :nuke: :hurts:
