It's so cool that things don't have to make sense anymore!
electing the dumbest son of a bitch that ever lived to the office of president? twice? it don't make sense.

attacking iraq when it was saudi arabia who attacked us? that don't make no sense.

sending the wife of the most hated man on earth to mellow the muslims? makes no sense to me.

lying about weapons of mass destruction to the whole world? then having the war anyway? it don't make no sense to me.

nothing about this man, his handlers, his daddy, his plans his goals makes any fucking sense at all, from the top down.

but that's just so cool don't you think? because when i was a boy growing up, a great deal of gravity was put on things making sense.
things that made no sense were referred to as 'nonsense', and those things were to be avoided at all costs.

but it was always such a mental effort to constantly make sure that things made sense, it's so much easier on the mind and psyche to simply accept things that don't make any sense, we don't have to bother with all that anymore, thank god.

2. nitpicker
For those nitpickers like you, whose foibles include making sense, a rationale has been provided and that is the one where "we make our own reality."

So, you see, you've merely plugged into the wrong reality.

7. Hehehe...spoken like a true disciple of Werner Erhard and Ron L...
...Hubbard of est and scientology fame respectively:

<snip>

est and Werner Erhard

"In life, understanding is the booby prize." -- Werner Erhard

Werner Erhard's est was one of the more successful entrants in the human potential movement. est is an example of what psychologists call a large group awareness training program.

I am still of the belief that George W. Bush and his entire crowd of Bushcovites have been somehow captured by the likes of Scientology, former "est" cultists or Landmark Forum followers. Am I right Jack?

9. Not really ...
est and Scientology are not beloved of the Radical Right.

est is too "New Age" for them -- right-wingers hate the New Age movement with a passion that equals or exceeds that of the Skeptics. And while Scientology is big on Personal Responsibility™ theology (Hubbard himself was fairly politically conservative), it is non-Christian.

In fact, there was a small wingnut group that claimed that Bill Clinton was secretly a Scientologist and was working to hand over American sovereignty to David Miscavage, successor to L. Ron Hubbard.

I hope this is a starter project in the Reality 101 course, because it sure does suck. I give myself a D- on this one.

6. This is a bumpersticker.
I always think of Bu$hco as pushing equal and opposite implementation. Every time they roll out a program (Clear Skies, Help America Vote, RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION) I get queasy 'cause I know they mean the opposite.

But you're right. Things just don't have to make sense any more. What do we need infrastructure for? Foreign relations? Life? Why do we need all those things when we have His Fakery?

Edited on Tue May-31-05 08:28 AM by SpiralHawk
The Bush White House has "leaked" the news (through notorious ace "journalist"/prostitute James Guckert) that choco-rations will likely go up next year, depending on how well the tax breaks for the wealthy take hold in the economy.

So, give a fellow True Believer Citizen Patriot (TBCP) a jumbo-flippin Republican smirk of encouragement today!

And remember, Big BushCo loves you.

12. I only have one question for America: WTFMFWTFAYT

I don't think we should be changing horses in midstream
even if the horse is on fire and stream is made of gasoline
I feel the country's much safer with him
now that we're finally alone in the world - we can win

I said I was tired of swatting at flies
and then two flies knocked down the twin towers and a lot of people died
So I decided to make it the cornerstone of my campaign
bring my friends to new york and have them say 911 again and again and again

WTFMFWTFAYT WTFMFWTFAYT
WTFMFWTFAYT WTFMFWTFAYT?

I had other priorities than going to 'Nam
like hanging out doing blow going AWOL and hitting the bong
you know back then I just didn't feel like going to war
that's what suckers like John Kerry are for

WTFMFWTFAYT WTFMFWTFAYT
WTFMFWTFAYT WTFMFWTFAYT?

Oh higher father - where are you?
Please tell me - is this what Jesus do?

I don't think we should be changing horses in midstream
even if the horse is on fire and stream is made of gasoline
I feel the country's much safer with him
now that we're finally alone in the world - we can win

I would probably discover you made sense, but, well, with the TV lineup looking good, and next week's "Game of the Century" shaping up to be a knockout, and WalMart having a fantastic sale on gallon jars of pickles, well, you know...there's just so many hours in a day!
