* is keeping a pledge he made during the election!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/05/31/politics/main698683.shtml

(CBS/AP) President Bush is keeping his second-term pledge to hold at least one full-blown news conference each month.

He was squeezing one in on Tuesday, the last day of May. The White House said he would open with a statement declaring that the nation's economy was strong and getting stronger.

Also, don't forget 60 Minutes Wednesday is being cancelled then look at their banner: :eyes:

In short, America is getting what it deserves having these "people" in office. A pity many Americans can't be bothered to see the truth.

5. That's because there are two economies
I flipped on the TV early this morning to catch the weather, and happened upon some yapping head talking about how to maximize the benefit from frequent flier miles. The other network had two more yapping heads talking about how Hillary Clinton has been repackaged and will run for president in 2008 and maybe win, thanks to her adoption of GOPonomics. There was a massive disconnect for me, since I've always been too poor to travel and since GOPonomics has kept me artificially poor all my life. I can only conclude that the economy is just swell for yuppies, especially newscasters and morning show fluff generators.

However, for the other 95% of us, the economy is a far different thing. We're seeing jobs evaporate, prices on necessities soar, taxes and fees increase at the state level, and if we have jobs, our bosses are demanding we do more with less help for less pay and less health insurance.

Our fine congressmen are in the first economy, of course, even though they've made the sacrifice to live on far less pay than they'd get as upper management in private industry. I guess we're supposed to be grateful for that, as they get whisked to vacation paradises all over the globe via corporate jet and pretend that they're working.

I hope Fuckwit keeps talking about how wonderful this economy is and about how his class is making sure that the other 95% of us should be ever indebted to them. I can't believe I'm the only one feeling this disconnect between official sunshine and dismal reality.

Revolutions have come from less.

7. Children
The wonderful"family values" one man one woman doing it by themselves. When they alone pay alot and maintain a home by themselves losing a job had much more weight.FEAR,
Loiter laws made by and for the tweak scared of the poor rich have killed public solidarity, when there is no open neutral place to gather, sit and relax together without PAYING to be there, discussion in the public square ends. And who wants to listen to some asshole evangelist occupying the space with a megaphone? Every gathering place comes with a pre decided agenda to be there (like chess poetry etc.) If we have nowhere to go,no discussion place,(like the rich mans country clubs)(mega churches try to fill the country club slot for the poor)...WE feel alone,we have no place to gather with people in our area, so we stay in our houses and bitch on line where the rich bastards want us.They don't want us on the street, causing a mess, wrecking THEIR luxury homes taking THEIR stuff selling it to buy FOOD.Because their ownership society has made us all slaves.

8. Yeah but he does the press conferences just as something is
about to break. This time 'deep throat'. Last time - there was something in the pipelines. What was it?

So we should look for breaking news every time the president does a news-conference. Breaking News about something else.
