Has Karl Rove unleashed a wave of insanity on the U.S.?

Look at the mad ravings of the Christian Coalition incensed about the teaching of Evolution,Creation Theory, Stem Cells,Abortions and what have you. In any aother nation,these people would certainly be examined by psychiatrists and consigned to a loony bin.Here they are not merely given a deferential listen by the network anchors but manage to command huge audiences among their faithful.

May be this war on our sanity is part of the PNAC plan to conquer the world.

Where religious lunatics went off the deep end about anyone who was "different", and burned them at the stake? It was also a perfect time to get rid of your enemies--just accuse them of being a witch (or a liberal Democrat!)
There was no scientific basis, just a group of people's own interpretation of what was right and "godly". But this group of people overrode everyone else's good judgment.

If it weren't for Sun Myung Moon's money and organization, they wouldn't have gotten anywhere at all.

And then there's the corporate greed in the media, and Americans who've given into a nihilistic materialism after looking the other way from what their government has been doing for the last 100 years.

It's not all due to Rove. Don't grant him more power than he deserves.
