The ABC'ers and the up coming 911 report

Just out of curiosity, why is everyone so sure the 911 report will put the (proper) blame on the Bush cabal? There have been numerous mentions on these forums that Bush and his crew seem very relaxed about the upcoming elections, what if the report ultimately points to Clinton? Why would the administration give the ok to release it, if not for the Always Blame Clinton distraction. I think we are in for a big let down. Just my opinion.

7. I think there are two pending reports
One is due out in 2 weeks, and another due next May. So one is from Congress is one is from an independent commission? Can anyone shed more light on this?

12. Two reports, gristy...
The first one, already completed and kept hidden for 6+ months now, is one from a joint congressional committee. Senator Graham, D (Fl) was the head of that committee. He has been raising hell about the report being kept secret, and he says that lots of useful info is in the report along with incriminating evidence.

The second report will come out after a current investigation is complete....next year or so? That one is chaired by Hamilton and is ongoing. They have a website up and hearings upcoming.

2. Lee Hamilton ramrodded Iran/Contra and 911 investigations
They started out this investigating by saying it was not being done to place the blame on any person or agency.

I have my doubts it will be much of anything. I agree with your opinion.

Which will be a good thing.

As far as going against Clinton, well, that's not gonna happen.

9/11 happened on this administration's watch, and most historical facts point to the Clinton administration being concerned about such a thing taking place and this WH ignoring that intelligence. <deja vu all over again?>

Rest assured that while not all the facts will come to light, the sad truth that the American people were let down by the current WH will become quite evident.

Bring it on!

6. The admin has tried to block
specific portions which refer to *'s daily intel briefings before 9/11. The only possible reason for this (and it's already been leaked) is that Bush in the summer of '01 was specifically warned about the possiblity of an upcoming terrorist attack, probably in NYC or DC, that could involve a hijacked airliner.

He did everything to block the Iran/contra hearings. Even so far as to call Costa Rica and threaten them over prosecution of Hull for drug smuggling.

So I have no faith in whatever comes out.

I have been saying Bush knew and let it happen for months now, and it would be nice to be validated. For petes sake , I will put a huge bush knew sign in my yard.

11. Speaking of 911 - Michael Moore must going nuts for '04
As you may know Michael Moore is putting out a documentary in the Fall of '04 called: "Farenheit 911 - the temperature at which democracy burns".

Michael must be going nuts right now with all the content floating about on the SOTU lie. How can wait until Fall '04 to release the movie? Of course it will have max effect on election then but he must be chomping at the bit.
