I propose that every senator and representative must declare each day

…that their vote is for sale and does so each day on the steps of the capital; the lobbyist would be required to pay them in cash in the open, so every one could see the price of his or her political whore.

4. you can believe you are powerless
and you can believe that enough voices cant be heard. and you can chose the most narrow view of politics.

sitting at a table last night with husband and 10 and 7 year old boys my husband said, what i believe is all politicians lie. we need them or we would be in dictatorship, but they all lie, you cant believe any of them

my mouth dropped open and i sat there

see in our home respectfully we get to express what we think. i spend a lot of time learning the facts. listening to people. and that includes the politicians. across the nation. i learn the facts of situation, and i particpate. and i teach boys it is absolutely their responsibility to participate and be informed.

and their voice matters. their voice is vital. without voice, of the people for, we the people cannot be heard.

the blanket statement alll lie is a truth, and it is a non truth

corporate political ho is a truth, and yet, it is a nontruth.

it is feeding and promoting the very worst, and we are better than that

i think the democratic party in washington is doing a damn good job. and i for one will thank them, and encourage them to continue, harder, more straight forward. we the people can not only handle it, we are starved for it.

i wont beat them up some more

i will help to create an enviroment where they can speak out, in ocurage, trust, faith......the i the people can handle a truth. even their missteps. if we cannot allow that enviroment for them, we cannot demand they do it.
