3. A Black republican is certainly not normal
nor is a christo-fascist. Normal and either of those concepts is oxymoronic!

who controlled the voting/voting machines did.

6. Black Republicans
I have always wondered about blacks who become Republicans. Why do they do that?

11. To signal they've "arrived," because they're fundies,
and to get more (bait and switch) tax cuts. The same reason whites do.

7. bush is the antichrist...
(not that I'm fond of fundies in general, but)

He has them accepting without qualms:

1. torture of innocents
2. preemptive war
5. abandonment of the poor and destitute

These are the antithesis of Christ's teachings, the exact OPPOSITE of what he stood for.

ergo, Bush is the antichrist, all the more so because these people are WORSHIPPING him instead of simply admiring him.

15. I'm always fond of telling my fundie relatives that
the devil can quote scripture too.

Also, I never gave much thought to the Antichrist until GWB became president, but now it pops into my head way too much for exactly the reason you gave: people have gone far past admiring their president, to worshipping him. Scary.

My hope is that the saner fundies (is "sane fundie" an oxymoron?) will one day wake up to that - that it's their God they're supposed to worship, and that the president isn't God. Sometimes I get the feeling my dad is beginning to become uncomfortable with the gradual deification of the Shrub.

19. That's right.
If Jesus is responsible for Bush, he must also be responsible for Clinton. This reminds me of people who survive a disaster and credit Jesus. Other people may have died in the same disaster. Did Jesus let them be killed?

28. And many fundie churches asked that their members pray for
Clinton, who God put in power. And Bush I before Clinton, Reagan before Bush I, and most certainly for Carter.

They also believe that God put Caesar in power, and Nebuchadnezzar, who sacked Jerusalem.

Many, many of them are completely consistent.

can kick him right outta the WH too.

If you believe in divine intervention, maybe * is a cosmic wake-up call --for us to realize how bad things really are and to finally have the collective strength to do something about it.

That should tell you everything you need to know. I hate to "bash" Southerners (seeing as how my entire family hails from the South)- but easily 9 out of 10 times when some whack job calls supporting Bush for some bizarre reason, they'll have a southern accent. It's damn near predictable.

I think there's some sort of collective insanity that goes on down there- even modestly intelligent people surrounded by that fundie crap all their lives get drawn in to one extent or another-

22. Props To The Lady From East Chicago
She gave it back to the "youngun'" big time! Used his own rhetoric and blew him away.

Notice his number one issue is "tax cuts". If he honestly drinks the kool aid on that, I'd sure hate to watch him try to close a housing deal. Sheesh.
