They are talking about the A.F. Academy in particular, but atheist servicemen have been calling in complaining. They have some apologist on for pushing Evangelical Christianity. What a lot of crap!
3. Yep, my thoughts exactly, thats why I told of one of my experiences
in the Army. This is a wide ranging problem. And as has been stated on the show, this is a problem in the military because of the top-down hierarchal structure present.
That religious intolerance from evangelical Christians runs rampant from high ranking officers and NCO's in all branches of the military.
I went on to give an example of one of my experiences while in the Army. I wrote how, as an atheist, my "belief" structure and I as a person was ridiculed and berated by ranking officers and NCO's while at a battalion sporting event in 2001.
I went on to explain that this appeared to me to be a systemic problem by officers and NCO's and that they sort of see themselves as modern day crusaders or Templars.
