KATHERINE HARRIS ANNOUNCES NELSON SENATE CHALLENGE
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Republican Rep. Katherine Harris, who as Florida's secretary of state was both praised and vilified for her part in the 2000 presidential recount, said Tuesday she will run for the Senate next year against Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson.

GRR!!!!! That W*E*N*C*H is in for the fight of her life, I will tell you that much right now.

I highly doubt she's very popular in Florida.

Voting in that state is so fucking corrupt that it doesn't really matter.

6. You'd be surprised.
Crazy freeps out here will vote for anyone that is not a Dem. Especially if it means occupying a seat that was once held by a Dem. She is revered in Sarasota and I can guarantee you in might resonate through the state unless something is done.

7. I would never put it past the most vile Republican
to pull off any election anywhere after 2000. I can't believe Democrats haven't learned to hold their optimism until their candidates have actually earned our praise.

She's a robot programmed to not do anything to fuck up the system that keeps wingers hooked on the GOP. The money boys and election managers will take care of the rest.

8. Shes' got the name profile, but it's a both-bad-and-good profile.
The best she hopes for IMO is a close victory. More likely: she can't carry the Panhandle and north-central Florida by a large enough percentage to off-set Nelson's statewide total percentage.

I predict Bill holds on to his job.
