Poland and her short term memory loss

This week the BBC reported that Polands PM anounced that the only reason Poland entered the war was so Polish oil company's can get thier hands on Iraqi oil reserves.

I was horrified at this statment because if anybody knows how awful it is to be occupied by a foriegn nation it's Poland. When the Nazi's invaded Poland they one of the reasons they invaded poland was because of thier coal mines.

I don't know why they would sign on for this was it because of years of polish jokes about thier inability to fight in war. Am I alone in feeling like this?

I'm a Polish American, & some of my distant relatives died in concentration camps. I know that Poland suffered greatly under Soviet occupation, but I'm terribly disappointed in the current Polish government's craven attempts at currying favor with bushco, & its seeming greed.

What about Japan, Lithuania, Bulgaria, or Spain? According to the Institute for Policy Studies, virtually every nation in the "coalition of the willing" was coerced or bribed into supporting the US/UK:
