Craig Crawford of "Hotline" says that Bush's BIG Speech "didn't do the
numbers for him when he gave it a couple of weeks ago. He says everything hinges on his speech to the UN tomorrow. He also said...if you look at Bush his numbers sort of drift down over the Summer and then he rallies in the Fall, and it so far, isn't happening.

The pollster from Gallup that was on said his numbers dropped significantly in Taxes, Education, Economy.

This is looking like Poppy, but Poppy had a "successful Gulf War" and little Spawn has been a DISASTER!

The video on MSNBC showed only the back of Bush walking to the helicopter with his suit (which seemed to big for him, seriously) flapping in the wind.....which gave the appearance of a Draculerian figure as he approched the copter.

So, folks.....that speech tomorrow better be a big "Crowd Pleaser" or he's heading for the dumpster......and all sorts of evil stuff is going to start to fly as Rove/Cheney figure out how to save chimp from the trash pile!

3. Other than to announce his resignation and apologize to the world,
I can't imagine anything that would please the UN. He is caught in an incredibly tough spot!!! :bounce:

5. Especially if the reports are true that he's going to do his "Macho Chimp"
routine in front of the UN! He needs to give the best speech of his life tomorrow....and we know he's incapable of that.....so he may do his "rootin' tootin' Texas Western Gunfighter Thang.......and turn off the whole world worse than he has done before.

And, this time he doesn't have Tony Blair's givt for convincing, impressive language, filled with conviction, to prop him up like he did for the Iraq Resolution vote and the UN Security Council Hearings...

He's on his own this time. It's interesting he's sending "Little Condi" out tonight to give a "Pre-Speech" synopsis.....

he always needs a "mommy".......to do his work for him......:-(

10. I bet that's what he will do.
It's not like he has many options, given his handlers' geopolitical positions.

2. I don't see that enough peopel will be paying attention for it to matter
People are pretty pissed or apathetic - a large amount of folks don't pay attention to UN speeches anyway - they may listen to the dust-off, but there won't be a lot of paying attention to the actual oration. Unless the speech is telivised in prime-time - which I doubt it will be...

6. People must have started to pay attention to get those low poll numbers!
So, I think it's going to be harder for him ....and harder for the press to cover up.....but who knows.....

7. Oh boy
If Lil George's corrupt administration hinges on his speaking ability, we can start measuring the White House for new window treatments now.

I wonder how many "last chances to save his presidency" Lil George will be granted by the popular media? The vendetta against bin Laden didn't do it. The hunt for mad Saddam didn't do it. The request for $87 billion didn't do it. I wonder if falling off the podium at the UN, assuming a fetal position, and bawling like a baby with a full diaper will do it? I'm guessing probably not. I hope they have another plan, although this schtick is getting more and more pathetic with every attempt.

By the way, did the UN guarantee Chimpy a standing ovation? Is that why he's going to address the "irrelevant" UN?

8. Bush's number don't drift down over the summer and
then rebounds in the fall. He made that up. If you look at a graph of his numbers, you can clearly see that they decline steadily until we get hit with a major terrorist attack or he starts a war. Then they make a big jump and then resume their original decent only with a steeper grade.

9. Whimper
What was that great T.S. Eliot line about going out with a whimper? I'm praying every day that Bush doesn't even get to rise to that level. The man is a freak; I'm surprised Rove is letting him give the speech. If I could be there,I'd roll my eyes just like Gore.

11. If I waz him, I would cut off my left "pinky", wrap it in a handkerchief
and offer it to the UN as a symbol of his sincerity while asking for forgiveness of his massive fuckups. Not the Invasion mind you, but the sheer arrogance in how he went about it.

The fact of the matter is: America needs the UN and vice versa.

Whoever started to bad mouth the Frogs and the cheesemakers fucked up Shrub. Now he has to go eat Crow. and the World is watching to see if he gags
