George & Laura Support the Troops (by attending a concert in evening wear)

It's hard work, it really, really is hard. I guess the 1700 bereft families should be grateful for the crumbs you toss them, eh George? It's hard work tying that bow tie.

1. I'm sure the troops are honored.
By Laura's red satin gown and Lynn's powder blue number.

God, how do these people stand each other?

3. They make me barf also
The ruling elitists who send our kids to die while they and theirs enjoy the good life. The only hopeful note is that we are on the countdown to send this scum out of our lives.

2. I see Laura ditched the usual tablecloth tonite.
Not that she looks any better with something different.

8. A belly bow again?? A belly bow?!
Laura has caught so much criticism in the past for wearing dresses with those stupid belly bows that accentuate the WRONG part of her maternal figure. (Not that there's anything wrong with maternal figures -- bows are just so, so tacky for anyone over kindergarten.)

9. Why does she seem to have grabbed half of her skirt in her hand?
In the last photo - she's got her skirt all bunched up in her hand. Who raised these people?

10. Appropriate that the Disney guy was there
since these people live in Fantasyland. Seriously, those get-ups and smiles and glad handing are so completely removed from the pure hell faced by the troops they are supposedly "honoring" - who were sent to Iraq to be blown to bits by the evil bastards for personal gain - there's just so much wrong here, I'm totally at a loss....

11. Maybe Laura actually thinks that...
The Don corleone family has spread freedom and prosperity to the masses, and democracy is on the march!

Or maybe she is fixing the gang problem.

Or maybe, she is just generally dilluded by Jerry Falwell and is receiving fat large checks and laughing away.

13. Yes, it's nice they could share this event with their corporate sponsors
I'm sure they'll all feel very good about themselves afterwards, having done their part to support the troops.
