Ben Nelson--poster child for DINOs

US Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) is cozying up these days with Religious Right leader Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family. According to an email alert message sent out by Dobson to supporters, Nelson spoke with him by phone and "assured" him that he now supports the proposed US Constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. Nelson reportedly says a May federal court ruling that voided Nebraska's Defense of Marriage law is the reason he changed his position. According to Dobson, Nelson will also help the Republicans by supporting "up-or-down votes on all but one of President Bush's embattled judicial nominees.

Just like Zell Miller....lets vote them all out of here, and get Howard to stand up with us!! :mad:

It's the only way to fix this. Get them completely OUT, then the corporate media will have to pay more and more attention as real democrats, republicans, stand up for the gross lies that manipulated us into wars.

4. Yeah, but...

What if we have the chance for a Senate majority, but we need DINOs to complete it? I would in a heartbeat. I wouldn't mind a few DINOs in the Congress if it meant Majority Leader Reid, and Democratic control of the Senate's agenda.

Thoughts?

5. No good...

The DINOs control foreign relations agenda. They can squash dissent by any elected congress members, and they lockstep in line with the extremists no matter whos in power.... :banghead:

Kerry even crossed over to their side.....I bet he really is caving now.

Nebraska seems conservative, it is surprising that a Dem is elected from there in the first place.

At this point, Dems need all the soldiers in the Senate they can get.
