Video taped murder on CBS News

They did a story on tasers and their danger. A man was killed by the police with one. His hands were cuffed behind his back while they continued to torture him until he died.

He was a family man and a deacon of his church.

I'm outraged!

7. Tasers have been advertised as being safe

but lately there have been a lot of reported incidents to the contrary. Are there any limits on their use (like only use to subdue an unruly suspect until they are handcuffed), or is it whatever a particular person wants to do with them?

But they seem to be tasering far more people than they ever shot.

I think that they are using tasers in cases where they'd previously have used a nightstick.

inadvertently hit a cop, so they sure taught him a lesson. :sarcasm: He had no record; his parting words were, "Don''t kill me."
Very sad indeed and I hope someone pays, though the grand jury didn't see the tape because they just weren't interested (according to a lawyer).
