5. It was the George Bush clip of the day...
or some such thing. Basically a renamed version of the George Bush joke that isn't really a joke.

3. What I saw was FUNNY!!!
Edited on Mon Sep-22-03 11:12 PM by Peace_2_Everyone

W was leaning on the pulpit and in his serious deep authoritarian voice bluntly stated:
“We are doing a better job of talking to each other” Holding out and looking directly at his right hand then his left hand he went on to say: “The left hand now knows what the right hand is doing”!

Earlier Dave also had a clip of Gov Davis of Cal, speaking of the numerous candidates in the governs race Davis said “We have people from every planet on earth” I could tell by his voice he knew he had just screwed up.

edit speeling

4. I didn't see it tonight but...
I saw him on Letterman before the election. The night after he was on, Letterman showed a clip of something that happened during commercial (apparantly the idiot didn't know the camera was running). Several of Letterman's aides were surrounding his desk and Bush was just sitting there. Suddenly, he took off his glasses and used the jacket of a female aide to clean his glasses. She, of course, couln't see what he was doing because her back was to him and she was busy. I saw that and I knew what an arrogant, self=entitled prick he was. Using someone elses clothes to clean your glasses. Letterman showed the clip several nights. I DON'T think he likes Bush at all.

6. Then there was the time
when * made jokes about Dave's very recent heart surgery. He'd just had his doctors on the day before, I believe, to thank them for saving his life. Dave was just incredulous at *'s tasteless joke.

10. It was hilarious for thes that didn't see it.
My wife, who rarely pays attention to Letterman has started watching with me just to see how he is going to abuse Bush. Of course the funny thing is that he doesn't mock him - he allows Bush* to mock himself. Bush* is his own worst enemy.
