While I frequently, in fact more often than not, disagree with Lou Dobbs, I found the last few minutes of his discussion with Moyers fasinating.
Dobbs all but agreed that there is stratifying class structure and a growing economic chasm in this country. (If he disagreed with Moyers, he would have torn into him in his typical Dobsian fashion. Instead, he offered an anecdote from Warren Buffet that supported the point).
He also castigated the failures of the media to go after the White House and Congress.
Whatever you think of Mr. Dobbs, he has always struck me as a person of inquisitive intellect, and of principal. These are the two real requirements of a great journalist.
The fact that there are still conservatives in this country like Lou Dobbs, who see something terribly wrong in the path our nation is set upon, gives me hope for the future.
