The SH they have in prison is a "fake"..... remember the 60 Minutes show?

Rather was the last news guy that had an "interview" with SH. ALL

questions were "translated" and SH did not KNOW English.

FAST forward....the US guards now tell us that they SPEAK with him in

a very cordial manner and "are nice to each other".

Did SH go away during the war for "English Berlitz" class.... or is

this one of the 8 "look a likes" trained for the fall.

An Iraqi/American, found him in a dirt hole.

How come this story was buried so soon?

I think that there are Palaces we don't have a clue about in Iraq Underground.

Most of the things we are fighting for are Underground in Iraq!

I think the real Saddam was taken out on the night before the war.....

but his power was on the line in the 60 minutes interview so he probably did not want any errors confusing his intent. I would be the same way in that situation if I barely spoke a language. In foreign countries it is amazing how many people can speak english, so I think he can speak some too. Still after making him look like the devil they are now going out of their way to make him look like a nice man. CNN did that slant and so did the AP. Why? I think they are planning to put him back in power possibly if Bush has to pull out.

He used a translator for clarity and to give him some thinking time, but he certainly understands and can speak English understandably enough to have the conversations the guards described.
