It was twisted into something that it wasn't and (of course) spun into an attack on "the troops". Seems ridiculous that the torturers can make us apologize. Harry Truman wouldn't have apologized. Howard Dean wouldn't either. Not for this. One more news cycle of the dems looking out of the mainstream and weak weak weak. Didn't they learn from the "damage control" these clowns did for Kerry? How about taking advise from someone with vision, who understands history just as well as they understand washington politics and media relations?
