Betrayal...59,000,000 americans failed to do their duty on NOV 2
So, here I am. I'm left with pride in my own service and the men I served with, but the sickening feeling that it was avoidable. I would gladly lay down my life for our country. Like every other man who wears this uniform, our commitment is not at issue. Call it naivety, but it never occurred to me that my country was less committed to us than we are to it. Sending us in harm's way for a lie amounts to a betrayal that may prove to be criminal. It's unfortunate that on November 2nd 59,000,000 Americans failed to do their duty and hold the administration accountable for this betrayal of the troops. A dishonorable discharge was never more warranted.

check out this website...its great

2. I beg to differ. Kerry won the election by a comfortable margin.
The exit polls, both the national and state polls, indicate he did. The American people will always be divided but the majority didn't vote for Bush. Use common sense. Gore won the 2000 election by 500,000 even without FL which he would have won by a good margin if there hadn't been the ex-felon list. And now despite the fact that all the demographics favor Kerry and the Dems I'm asked to believe that Bush suddenly gets enough extra voters to win by 2 1/2 %? This despite one of the most disastrous administrations in American history. Duh?

Get real. The Dems enrolled more new voters than the Repubs; the population changes all favored the Dems (more Latinos, more Blacks, more Asians). Every demographic change you can name favors the Dems.

With one change, the Dems would be in charge in Congress and in the White House: Get a voter verified paper ballot and REQUIRED AUDITS for all elections where electronic voting machiens are used.

6. We either accomplish what you have suggested or there is no
use having any further political processes. We can't win if they are stealing the votes.

and you get a KERRY WIN, if there was a fair election-NO SUCH LUCK~!

voters to blame is productive, even if the election system were not corrupt. So many were brainwashed and acting out of blind fear. Many millions did not see through the lies at that point. They trusted their leaders and like you, trusted that the system would not be abused. It is our leaders who have betrayed you, not so much the Sheeple who were cleverly exploited. Maybe, just maybe, everybody can learn a HARD lesson from the way this country was railroaded into an immoral war. And the group that knows that better than anybody are the soldiers sent to fight it, and courageous military leaders who are daring to speak out. And others getting behind 3 words--"exit strategy now."

I think we all agree that sending soldiers to fight a war on false pretenses is a criminal act and an impeachable offense. The scary thing is how easily it was done. We must never let this happen again--we must completely revise the mechanism for inititating warfare... clean up the whole system so that the Executive Branch cannot fix the intelligence around their preconceived plan and steamroll over objectors in the State Dept, Congress, the Pentagon, Security branches and the Public. Strengthen the War Powers Act and apply serious penalities for abuse. ETC ETC It's pretty clear we need to bring some Democracy to America before we go trying to spread it in the Middle East. Corruption in the US is massive at every level in the private and public sector. We have created a climate of exploitation. If this endemic disease can be exposed, maybe even the Sheeple will see it. I want to think there's time to win some battles here at home before our country is in ruins along with Iraq. Iraq will be seen in future as another misbegotten military disaster. America learns the hard way, much like a stubborn teenager. We will be paying for this in countless ways.

13. Many of them DISENFRANCHISED by the rethugs. It was a fraudulent election
and if Conyers could get a fair hearing with subpoena power, then the American people would find out the truth!
