19. Happy to meet you!
I'm at Cleveland Center.

I'm not aware of a spouses' auxillary, but I know involvement by anybody is encouraged. We've got an uphill battle ahead of us with the upcoming contract negotiation.

23. Nice to meet you too!
My partner worked with John Carr's wife Jill at Greensboro before she and John married. I'd like to see more of John in the media talking about NATCA issues. He's a real charismatic guy. I saw "NATCA Lobby Week" on C-SPAN and his speech was really good.

31. "Johnny The Bull" is fantastic. We're lucky to have him.
The PAC seems to make some good inroads, too. We were really making progress when Jane Garvey was around, but since Bush appointed Blakey, it's been nothing but headaches.

Say hi to your SO for me...

45. We love you too! Now, can you clear me direct to the outer marker?
I did a paper in grad school at Georgia Tech for a professor and federal labor mediator named Sherman Dallas. I interviewed the PATCO leadership (I forget his name now) and I predicted the PATCO strike. In fact, I predicted Ray-gunz reactions. That got me a string of "A's" from Dr. Dallas.

I work for one of those places where we are told Unions will take all of our 6.25 and hour.
then cut your hours like mad
then bust you down to part time, so they can schedule you less than 20 hours now, and full time is considered 30 hours, but you never get scheduled that much.
and then on top of that, you have to deal with a bunch of moron managers

sound familar ?????

35. Proud to say that BOTH of my grandfathers were union organizers in mill
towns around Pittsburgh back in the 30's and 40's (one of them was blacklisted for it). My Dad recently retired from teaching at a university, where he was prez. of the faculty union for a few years and led the faculty out on strike 10 or so years ago.

Yep, the folks who brought us the weekend! (and health benefits, overtime, etc, etc.)
