OK I was asked to recommend some books that question the bible..

i used to have a bunch but gave them away.. now i cant think of their names...
anyone know any good ones?
i might see a few new ones too :) thanks!

1. The Pagan Christ by Tom Harpur

is excellent, short, informative and to the point - written in Laymans terms. Best of all it does not critisizm christianity but pretty much destroys any possibility of a literal interpretation of the Bible.

by Tim C. Leedom, Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties by Archer.

Also Ken's Guide to the Bible by Ken Smith (for a really simple, thin book).

Why don't you just go to infidels.org, and follow the links to the bookstore (they also have lots of good online material in the 'library' section). Don't leave home without it.

I think that's the name. You won't find it in the religion section, but in the humor section. It's very funny, and makes some good points.
