Dubya responds to criticism of his enunciation

The president, in response to recent accusations of widespread inner city illiteracy and poor standards of enunciation made his position clear on his vision for the future of public education, saying:

This tough new stance in response to calls from some members of the U.S. Congress for the administration to develop a plan to renergise what is widely percieved as an "almost defunct" system has been hailed by overseas educational representatives such as the Teletubbies and Miffy.

He spoke as polls show American support for the administration's education policy is in decline and acknowledged that public schooling faces "oikledy poikle" in the coming years.

Several young children in Republican-held states have started uttering streams of meaningless gibberish according to recent reports.
