Skinner says: threads about "candidate bashing" threads
"are becoming more disruptive than the actual attacks against candidates themselves."

I wholeheartedly agree. Last summer, while I was annoyed over what I perceived to be threads bashing my candidate, I became despairing when threads about those threads started to proliferate. The original threads at least had passion going for them. The latter threads were themselves desperate. Many remarked on a decline in the quality of life at DU. Totally depressing.

A constructive suggestion: May we learn to tolerate each other. Tolerate the whole package of each other, including our diverse passions and our occasional outbursts of anger.

I hope threads about threads about candidate bashing threads aren't even more disruptive. If so, I humbly apologize.

2. Ah, but isn't this a "thread about candidate bashing threads?"
Let's review the entire cycle briefly for anyone who just came in, just so we can skip the same 5 posts we always see and get right to the serious fighting:

Post 1: Candidate so-and-so sucks because...

Post 2: No, YOU suck for saying that...

Post 3: PLEASE, can't we all just get along?

Post 4: Yeah, let's all just get along! What a great idea!

Post 5: Sounds good to me, but of course we all WOULD get along just fine if only everyone realized that candidate so-and-so is unelectable...

6. Absolutely Not Hardhead
This is a 'thread about threads about candidate bashing threads'.

I think I might have to start a thread complaining about these sorts of threads sometime soon.

3. Skinner also said
"Hey, you two... Let's not start a mini-flame war here." So I left and had lunch in a swank Orange County restaurant...but instead of taking my leftovers in the tinfoil, I wore it on the way out of the resturant so as to not be noticed.
