Bush (gesturing wildly): "It doesn't make any sense to have a time-tabow"
Yes, this is how he pronounced timetable - "time-tabow". He's getting less and less coherent as his misadventure in Iraq starts to bury his sham presidency.

He can whine to the American people endlessly about his rejection of time-tabows, but they've tuned him out on this subject like they tuned him about during his bullshit social security whirl. He's done. Finished. What's tragic, however, is that the failures that will pile high in this term - and there are many that are waiting in the wings - won't give him one fucking shred of humility. The more he fails, the more arrogant, defiant and cocky he'll get. And that's why he have to remain on our guard with this sociopath, and not revel too much in his failures. Cornered animals are dangerous.

3. it was interesting
It started off as a standard hand chop, evolved into finger waggling, all while looking wild-eyed.

2. "the strategy for success in Iraq"
<snip>

Abroad, the Pew Centre found that China was significantly more popular than the US among the populations of America's traditional allies, including Britain.

"People see disturbing images on their television screens coming out of Iraq," Scott McClellan, the White House spokesman said yesterday, adding that Mr Bush would seek to bolster support in his Fort Bragg speech.

"The president will be talking about the broader view about what we're trying to achieve there," he said. "The American people have not really heard the strategy for success in Iraq."

There's a STRATEGY?

4. That's what Nixon thought too
until we actually needed a time table. It's an idea whose time has come George. Otherwise, we all remember that Helicopter 1 can land and take off from the WH lawn. It can happen for you too George, one last time, while you wave goodbye to the few believers that will still acknowledge you by then.

8. Isn't he speaking on Tuesday night at a military base? Wouldn't it be
too mucking fuch if the Democratic military members in the audience just started booing him. He'd probably fall apart at the seams, really, like foaming at the mouth crazy. His Fraudulency can't deal with anyone disagreeing with him, can you imagine what he'd do if a whole room full of military disagreed with him and made their point of view vocal.

A girl can dream can't she.

13. This whole discussion is being distorted
Republicans are acting like everyone is as stupid and inflexible as they are. No one is saying we should get out on, say, October 15th. But people want concrete goals to be set that say, when we accomplish this, then we will leave. They are purposely misrepresenting our argument just like with everything else and I'm fu*king sick of it.

14. I would like shrub more if he would after every phrase that speaks
about... promoting freedom and democracy say.... (for our contractors and corporations) or phrases that speak about enabling progress and economic prosperity followed by (for our contractors and corporations).

If he would speak thusly, he would for once be telling the truth and perhaps then, I would respect his honesty, late in coming that it might be.

Anyone here think I might have to alter my feelings anytime soon??

If you are going to do war profiteering, include your best associates in the game, use our young men and women to open the door for said profiteers, allow nobid contracts, etc, just say so, then we will all be able to understand the truer motives behind your inane decisions.
