1. Oh wow....Carter has really lost it this time.
Jimmy Carter meeting with BBV calls for the "ultimate whitewash campaign".

Bev Harris, freepers, and trumped charges of democrats stealing elections everywhere. You don't have any idea what kind of can of worms they are opening up now.... :banghead:

9. I know that people are mad at her for promising more than she
delivered, but she's still on our side on voting issues.

2. I heard that, too
David Cobb...remember him?

electionassessment.org

that commission could NOT be a bigger joke; just shows how feckless Carter is. the irony of having Jim fricking BAKER as the co-chair of that commission is like having somebody like, oh, say Philip Zelikow on the 911 commission

wait a minute!!!!

3. I hadn't heard about this, but the group Black Box Voting
represents the concerns of ordinary citizens, as opposed to the concerns of Diebold.

7. Ask anyone who is really very familiar with them.....
They don't represent the concerns of anyone, except, of course themselves. The only thing they were able to do is prove once and for all anyone can hack and did hack the machines.

8. In theory it does.
But I have my sincere doubts as to the execution.

11. And what
Edited on Sat Jun-25-05 09:21 PM by FreedomAngel82
are they going to tell? That it was voter fraud and not election fraud? Apparently she claimed to have the proof that the election was stolen from Kerry. Now she's on the freep site telling them shit. Sorry I don't believe anybody on that site.

I'm sure she's on our side. :sarcasm:

12. Why not, she works with the repukes too, why not hear from her?

(snip)
As for Rossi, we did notify the Rossi team of the problems we were finding with the optical scan, showing how it could be easily fraudulently manipulated, and where to find the evidence. We were told that they were not allowed to present any new evidence by that point (we notified them as soon as we discovered the problem, and BEFORE we even went to Leon County to demonstrate proof of concept).

(snip)

I agree that vote fraud investigations should be conducted on anomalies regardless of which party is favored in the election. I also think that Washington State -- at least, King County -- has indications consistent with Democratic election manipulation. We will persist in investigating what happened on Nov. 2 in King County, regardless of any candidate outcome or court decision.

Let the chips fall where they may.

13. So how did Cobb seem to feel about this?
Was he sounding upset? happy? or what?

This could be important information since he could have some "inside information" about how she plans to play this.

16. I wonder if he knows
that she has never revealed how much money she raised, and what she spent it on.

The last I heard about her, she was claiming that Democrats were stealing elections and that that was why they didn't want investigations, or some such nonsense.

I thought she believed that Republicans owned most of the machines, that they stole the 2000 election and the 2004 election. I remember her saying she could prove it.

Then Randi Rhodes and Keith Olberman had problems with her, and when I first found DU, she was a poster here and I read some of her stuff. I was very surprised at what I learned about her so I went to her site and asked her why her partner was a Freeper, and whether or not she was working for Diebold ~ someone there told me she was 'non-partisan' and that her partner cared about election fraud.

I don't know her, or anyone else from BBV, but I don't trust her anymore. If she had no proof of fraud, she sure convinced a lot of people to give her money because she led them to believe she could prove it. I also thought she had some video she was going to post on her site, but I've never seen it.

She was supposed to post how much she collected also, but that never happened. Now it's Democrats who are stealing elections?? Imo, she caused a lot of people to lose faith in the whole election fraud issue. She's done more harm than good ~ maybe Carter doesn't know much about her?
