I've noticed a lot of people calling king George "*". Is he considered so evil by some that his name is taboo, or what? I'm new here, obviously.

:hi: It should be taboo, but some use a variety of names  and type out bush, too. I trained myself not to capitalize it.

4. Yep. Doonesbury. It's to indicate the questionable legitimacy ...

I get it. I gave up on Doonsbury years ago. I got tired of waiting a week to get a laugh.

18. The story goes like this
Garry Trudeau is predicting that Historians will need to use an " * " next to Greoge Bush Jr.s name because of Mr. Bush Jr. losing the 2000 election and then sitting in the White House.

doonesbury would use '*' 2 designate gI speaking - it has carried over. I will not write b**h because I have adopted the ancient belief that using your enemy's name gives them power. Whatever fits.
