I guess the abolishing of the sodomy laws and upholding affirmative action has the conservatives so pissed, they now want term limits. I've always felt that lifetime appointments in any governmental position left the American citizenry hostage to dead presidents (not the ones on money that we are also hostage too). I think a fair way to deal with federal judges would be to make them stand for election during the second presidential election after appointment.
