Conyers for Pres? No. Why not Judiciary Chair?

Representative John Conyers has been doing everything in his power the last several months to get the DSM addressed in Congress as well as in the Mainstream media. By delivering a Petition signed by over half a million Americans and one hundred and twenty two Congressmen, he has fought through hell to have this issue heard and is still fighting.

I have it understood, that if a committee turns to the party of the ranking member after an election, the ranking member will then be cair of the committee. If DU does what it can in all our power to get election reform, and then win a Democratic Majority in the House or Senate(hopefully both), then we will have our man be the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. I say we do what we can to turn 06 our direction(Right now, it's turning our direction without much effort), and wait for further victories. We know what a dump the Red's have gotten themselves into, so let's just wait a bit longer while theuy continue tripping over themselves.

if the Dems gain control of the House, Conyers should be Judiciary Chair. That's a big if, however.

It's much more likely to get that, then to get him running for president.
