A prominent Shiite tribal leader who is a member of Iraq's National Assembly has been killed in a suicide bomb attack in northern Baghdad, police said. North of the capital, a suicide car bomb exploded near a coalition base, killing one U.S. soldier and wounding another, the U.S. military said. The attack brings the number of U.S. war deaths to 1,740.

So essentially, winning means defeating the Iraqi "regular" army, building bases across the country, then patrolling, getting shot at, killed and then retreating back to those bases. That sounds like a winning strategy to me!:eyes:
